Our Covid-19
|
In mid-May 2020 there were the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 here in the community of Fort Thompson. Since that time, much of our time and energy has been spent encouraging and assisting our community both spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally with the impacts of COVID-19.

These have been new and difficult times. It has been said that after this pandemic, “We will never be the same again.” That phrase is often uttered as a negative, but our desire, even as we mourn with those that are grieving losses due to Covid-19, IS to come out of this pandemic changed. We desire as individuals, a church family, and as a community, to have forged in this fire a greater and stronger LOVE for God and Jesus Christ, and for each other.
We yearn to come together for worship, learning, and fellowship, but only such a manner that it will protect those most vulnerable in our community that we hold so dear. So we are now having social distancing appropriate worship and pancake brunch every Sunday at 10:15 and 11 AM respectfully. They are both indoors at the Ikce Oyate Christian Center. Please come join us. Although at this time, we will not be providing rides or having Sunday School.
Also, the Diamond Willow Ministries' office at the Ikce Oyate Christian Center remains open, although the doors are locked. Staff can be contact at 605-245-2685 or by email at info@d-w-m.org
